Unshakeable Hope

Revelation is one of my favorite books in the Bible. Revelation was written to give unshakeable hope to the suffering Christians in the past, today and in the future. When this was written and even today, the world seems to be falling apart around us. Christians around the world have been persecuted for their faith. Even today in America, persecution for Christians is on the rise. As we look at the chaos in the world today, we are wondering what is going on? We ask God do you see our tears, do you hear our prayers, do you know we are suffering and do you know our enemies seem to be prospering? But when you read the book of Revelation, God says loud and clear, you may think things are out of control as you see your enemies prospering but take heart.

Christ has conquered death.
Christ has conquered hell.
Christ has conquered Satan.
Christ has conquered all.
Christ is in control.
Christ is reigning today.
Christ does see your tears and He does hear your prayers. One day He will raise you up to reign with Him forever and ever and ever. Revelation 15:3-4 gives us unshakeable hope because we see the multitudes in heaven praising God and singing loudly:

“Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”
