Every day, millions of people around the world abandon their ususal scientific worldview and consult horoscopes, believing that somehow the positions of the planets can affect what happens to them. When you think about it, it’s crazy! It’s not only crazy (as well as fobidden in Scripture) but also completely unnecessary because God himself-our heavenly Father-has promised to guide us. He just doesn’t have plans; He has plans for us! Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” And the God of all creation wants to guide us into those plans.
God promises today is that if we will set our hearts on Him and ask for His help, He will guide and lead us further toward that goal He has planned for us. Trust Him to lead you well along the journey. The best way to set your heart on Him is to pray and to be in His Word. If you do not know where to start – begin in John 1.
Psalm 32:8, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
